Auckland Private Laundry is dedicated to protecting the environment and for us to move towards a sustainable future.  

We feel it is important for us to reduce our local and global impact by continuously researching new sustainable laundry processes. These minimise the use of detergents and reduce rinse cycles while still providing the same level of quality and hygiene. It is also important for us as a company to invest in new efficient energy-saving equipment which is also part of our five-year strategic plan.

We use a buffer tank system with electronic measuring for our wastewater. This buffers all the different types of laundry washes to ensure the PH level entering the wastewater network is at the required levels. This is done through a natural process without the addition of any chemicals.  Lint-free traps prevent lint from entering the wastewater system and cooling down tanks ensures the wastewater enters the network at cooler temperatures.
